Safety Policy

Workforce on Tap is committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, clients, visitors and members of the public. We are also committed to providing our services in an environmentally responsible manner, and to a standard that meets government and client expectations. We are committed to achieving a zero accident rate on all sites occupied by our employees.

To assist in fulfilling this commitment, Workforce on Tap in partnership with our Host Employers will ensure that:

  • Safety and environmental hazards are actively identified, assessed and controlled to ensure the safety of our people.
  • Employees are working in a safe environment.
  • A safe system of work is adhered to at all times.
  • Employees are provided with adequate safety information, instruction, training and supervision to perform their work activities in a safe manner without impacting the environment.
  • A consultation and issue resolution process is available for all employees to raise their safety concerns.
  • Our safety procedures comply with the applicable state Legislation.

Duties of Workforce on Tap

Workforce on Tap in conjunction with our Host Employers must legally provide and maintain so far as is practicable a working environment that is safe and without risks to health and will endeavour to minimise the impact on the environment. Although this ultimate responsibility lies with the Managing Director, all Branch Managers are responsible for the health, safety and welfare of the staff they employ. In addition, Managers, Supervisors and Coordinators of Host Employers directing the workflow of our staff also have a joint responsibility to our staff.

Employee Duty of Care

All employees must take responsibility for the care of their own health and safety and for the health, safety and welfare of anyone else who may be affected by their actions. This includes compliance with all safety policies, operating procedures and directions, and not to wilfully or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interests of health safety.
